Bombay High Court seeks probe details of SC/ST case filed by Sameer Wankhede against Nawab Malik

A bench comprising of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice PK Chavan also directed the concerned officer to appear on the next hearing date with the papers concerning the probe, including the case diary.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday issued notice to the Maharashtra government on a petition filed by former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede seeking the transfer of the investigation into a case against Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik to an independent agency like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
