Guidelines for case management may not be effective unless judicial officers, court staff, infrastructure are augmented: Madras High Court

The Court was hearing a petition seeking the issuance of case management rules for monitoring the progress of cases, in view of the Supreme Court's judgment in the Salem Advocate Bar Association case.

The Madras High Court recently had occasion to observe that rules and guidelines issued for effective case management may have little effect until there is improvement in the number of judicial officers, court staff and infrastructure for courts.
