By a separate notification, the Collegium also recommended the appointment of Justice Sandeep Mehta, a judge of the Rajasthan High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday recalled its recommendation of December 2022 to appoint Justice K Vinod Chandran as the Chief Justice (CJ) of the Gauhati High Court.
