After UP Police seeks custody in May 2020 case, Comedian Munawar Faruqui moves Madhya Pradesh High Court for urgent hearing on pending bail plea

As per the new rules notified today in Madhya Pradesh High Court, an application for urgent hearing is filled online on the High Court website. The orders on the same are passed next day.

Comedian Munawar Faruqui, who is currently in judicial custody for the offence of hurting religious sentiments, has moved the Madhya Pradesh (MP) High Court for an urgent hearing on his pending bail application after Uttar Pradesh (UP) Police sought his custody in a May, 2020 case.
