Condonation of delay in appeals under NIA Act: Bombay High Court appoints Senior Advocates Aabad Ponda and Sharan Jagtiani as amici

The Court was told that there were multiple judgments of different High Courts with varying opinions on condoning delay in filing appeals under the NIA Act.

The Bombay High Court will conclusively decide on the issue of whether an appeal filed under Section 21 of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Act should be entertained or not if it is filed after the statutory limitation period of 90 days from the passing of the lower court order.
