[COVID-19] Calcutta High Court asks State to file report after petitioner highlights shortage of hospital beds, oxygen cylinders, medicines

During today's hearing, the Election Commission of India submitted that it has prohibited all rallies and gatherings on the day of the counting of votes and declaration of results throughout India.

The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday asked the West Bengal government to file a report in view of complaints by a petitioner that there was an acute shortage of hospital beds, oxygen cylinders and other medicines.
