Current trend of public is to malign judges with baseless allegations: Allahabad High Court imposes ₹10k cost on litigant

The bench opined that such a trend of accusing judges and making frivolous allegations against them should be put down with a heavy hand.

The Allahabad High Court recently observed that there is a current trend on the part of general public to overawe judges by complaining and maligning them by levelling baseless allegations [Mohd. Sarfaraz v Mohd. Abid & Ors.].
