[Delhi Air Pollution] Central vista construction not halted as it is project of national importance: Centre to Supreme Court
However, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development informed the top court that the construction activities at Central Vista site is compliant with the Construction and Demolition Waste Management Rules.
The Central government has informed the Supreme Court that all construction activities in Delhi by the Central Public Works Department have been halted in compliance with the directions of the top court t curb air pollution, except the Central Vista redevelopment which is a project of "national importance" (Aditya Dubey vs Union of India).
