[Delhi Riots] Protest was secular, chargesheet is communal: Umar Khalid to Delhi court

Umar Khalid, accused under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in a case related to Delhi Riots of February 2020, told a Delhi court on Tuesday that a number of persons protested against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the protest was secular in nature. He submitted that it was in fact the chargesheet against him that was communal in nature and not the protests (Umar Khalid v. State).
