Ensure no further elephant is taken into captivity: Madras High Court to State

The Madras High Court on Friday called on the State to ensure that no further elephant is taken into captivity, except when an elephant requires medical treatment or is unable to survive in the wild (Rangarajan Narasimhan v. The Chief Secretary and ors).
