[Govind Pansare murder] Maharashtra government showing no urgency in plea to cancel bail of accused: Bombay High Court

Justice SV Kotwal took exception to the public prosecutor seeking adjournment in a plea filed by State government in 2018 seeking cancellation of bail granted to the accused by the Kolhapur Sessions Court.

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday came down heavily on the Maharashtra government for not showing urgency to proceed with the hearing in the plea seeking cancellation of bail of Virendrasinh Tawade, accused of murdering left wing politician Govind Pansare.
