Gujarat High Court gets its first female Chief Justice but only for 9 days

Justice Sonia Gokani, the senior-most judge of the Gujarat High Court, will work as a Chief Justice only for nine days as she is set to retire on February 25.

Justice Sonia G Gokani took oath as the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court this morning, becoming the first woman to hold this office at the Gujarat High Court.
