Gujarat High Court issues notice in challenge to minimum age criterion for NCLT member appointments

The Gujarat High Court on Tuesday issued notice in a plea challenging the Constitutional validity of Section 413(2) of the Companies Act, which lays down a minimum age criterion of 50 years for appointment as National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) members (Nipun Praveen Singhvi v. Union of India).
