The Tamil Nadu government has approached the Supreme Court seeking release of ₹2,151 crore in education funds under the Samagra Shiksha Scheme (SSS) for the 2024–25 financial year, a dispute stemming from the State's refusal to adopt the three-language policy which includes Hindi.
