"Indian Army has not granted permanent commission to 50% of women applicants:" Plea in Supreme Court accuses Centre of arbitrariness

The Supreme Court, on Wednesday, sought the Central government's response in a plea by 17 women officers from Indian Army alleging that the Army has not granted permanent commission (PC) to "even 50 percent of women officers" despite a Supreme Court judgment regarding the same.
