IPL 2023: Madras High Court restrains websites and ISPs from illegally broadcasting matches, player auction

The High Court granted an interim injunction in favour of Viacom18, which holds the exclusive streaming and broadcasting rights for IPL 2023.

The Madras High Court has restrained a number of internet service providers, digital streaming platforms and websites from illegally broadcasting Indian Premier League (IPL) matches and the player auction event, over which Viacom18 has exclusive rights.
