Karnataka High Court grants default bail to 115 UAPA accused in Bangalore riots case [Read Order]

Justice S Vishwajith Shetty of the High Court set aside the order of the Special NIA court which had declined bail.

The Karnataka High Court recently granted default bail under Section Section 167(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) to 115 persons accused in cases registered in connection with the Bangalore Riots of August 2020 (Muzammil Pasha v. National Investigation Agency).
