Though the Court accepted that plagiarism is a very serious matter, it observed that there was no material on record to show that the subject teacher found evidence of plagiarism.

The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday set aside orders issued by National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore denying a law student admission to the next academic year on account of failing in a subject.

NLSIU had awarded an 'F' grade to the student on the ground that he had plagiarized a project.
