Kerala High Court introduces social media 'Code of Conduct'; Officers, staff restrained from posting offensive statements, criticizing State etc.

Among other things, the Code of Conducts also directs all staff and members "to not indulge in criticizing case laws and judgments of the courts, Judges or judicial system to scandalise them in social media."

No fake email or social media accounts. Declare email addresses and social media accounts maintained. No personal exchange of communication on official sites. Be careful while expressing opinions on social media.

These are some of the pointers from the 'To-Do' list which the Kerala High Court has brought into force by the introduction of a Code of Conduct for Court officers and staff at the High Court and the District Courts to regulate their involvement and intervention in social media and other public platforms.
