LG can destabilise democratically elected MCD by nominating aldermen: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Wednesday reserved its verdict in a plea by the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government against the appointment of ten aldermen by the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) without the aid and advice of the Delhi government's cabinet.
