Nature cannot be modified to suit man's whims; seal resorts that divert natural flow of waterfalls in Western Ghats: Madras High Court

The Madras High Court recently directed the collectors of five hill districts in Tamil Nadu to constitute a committee to seal private hotels and resorts that illegally divert the natural flow of the several waterfalls in the area to create artificial ones at their own properties [Vinoth R v. Additional Chief Secretary to Government and others].
