NCLAT issues notice in appeal by GVK Energy challenging NCLT Chennai order initiating insolvency against GVK Power
The NCLT Chennai had admitted the plea filed by Axis Bank, the creditor, in October this year and initiated Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) against the company GVK Power.
The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) at Chennai on Thursday issued notice on an appeal filed by GVK Energy Ltd challenging an order of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) at Hyderabad initiating insolvency process against GVK's subsidiary, GVK Power [GVK Energy Limited v. Axis Bank].
