The facility of filing cases through e-mail started due to COVID-19, will continue and Advocates can register with the e-filing portal in the meantime. However, filing can be done only through one of the modes
The High Court of Orissa on June 12 commenced the use of an e-Filing portal developed by the e-Committee of the Supreme Court of India to aid the convienient filing of cases by the Advocates and Litigants.
The e-Filing portal will be available 24x7 and cases can be filed by advocates at their own convenience.
Moreover, the status of e-filed cases will be regularly sent via SMS and e-mail to the concerned Advocates and Parties to keep them updated.
It is added that in order to use this portal one first needs to register their details in Court’s database through a link provided on the website.
