[BREAKING] Pandharpur Wari 2021: Supreme Court dismisses plea to allow millions of devotees to perform pilgrimage till Lord Vithal temple

The petition had stated that the Maharashtra government's decision to allow only 10 palkis as compared to 250 for the Dindi was violative of their fundamental right to equality and faith.

Citing the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra, the Supreme Court today dismissed a plea challenging the Maharashtra government's denial of permission to complete an annual pilgrimage to Lord Vithal Temple.
