Sitting judge of Patna High Court, Justice Anil Kumar Upadhyay passed away on Wednesday morning in Chennai, after battling kidney disease..Justice Upadhyay was born on December 4, 1962.He did his LLB, LLM and P.hd. from Patna University and also worked as part time lecturer in Commerce College, Magadh University from August, 1988 till 2010. Justice Upadhyay was also a part-time lecturer in Patna Law College from 1989-1996 and 2004-2006 and was also a visiting faculty in Chanakaya National Law University from 2007 till May 2017.He worked as Standing Counsel, Patna High Court from December 2010 till May 2017.He was also a counsel for Rajendra Agriculture University, Bihar Agriculture University, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agriculture University and also worked as panel counsel for Dental Council of India.Justice Upadhayay was set to retire on December 3, 2024.
