"Petitioner is not even from West Bengal:" Supreme Court dismisses plea seeking directions for free and fair Assembly polls in Bengal

A three-judge Bench of the Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a petition seeking directions to ensure free and fair elections in the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections noting that the petitioner was not from West Bengal and there was no violation of her fundamental rights (Puneet Kaur Dhanda v. Union of India).
