Plea in Supreme Court alleges former PM Manmohan Singh illegally constituted Sachar Committee to look into plight of Muslims

The plea said that Sachar Committee was constituted on the whims and fancies of the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and was not done on the order of the President, a violation of Article 77 of the Constitution.
