Plea to promote students up to 8th grade without exams, waive school fees during COVID-19 lockdown: Allahabad High Court seeks response

A petition has been moved in the Allahabad High Court seeking that school students up to the 8th grade may be promoted this year without holding any examinations, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation and lockdown.

The Court has directed the concerned authority to file a response in the matter, which also prays that directions be issued so that no private unaided school charges fees for the period the the lockdown.
