Allahabad High Court refuses to quash case against WhatsApp admin after PM Modi image with pig face shared on group

The Court found no reason to interfere, given that the accused is the WhatsApp group admin and is a co-extensive member of the group.

The Allahabad High Court recently refused to quash criminal proceedings registered against an administrator of a WhatsApp group on which an image depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the face of a pig was allegedly shared [Mohd Imran Malik v. State of Uttar Pradesh].
