POCSO: Madhya Pradesh High Court directs action against judge for not examining DNA evidence while acquitting accused

The Court found that the judgment had a serious flaw since it did not even mention the DNA report which was in the prosecution's favour.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court last week directed appropriate action to be taken against a Special Judge hearing cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act) after he failed to consider crucial medical evidence while acquitting an accused [State of Madhya Pradesh v Golu].
