Quasi-judicial power has to be exercised only by an officer empowered to do so, not by any other authority: Karnataka High Court

The Court stressed the same while holding that the BBMP Commissioner, who holds quasi-judicial powers, can exercise those powers only by himself and cannot delegate it to any other authority.
