Senior Advocate SN Mookherjee aka Gopal Mukherjee has been appointed Advocate General (AG) of West Bengal..Governor of West Bengal Jagdeep Dhankar confirmed the same via Twitter..The post fell vacant after Senior Advocate Kishore Datta resigned as AG on Tuesday citing personal reasons. Datta sent his resignation letter to West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar on Tuesday and the same was accepted."I do hereby tender resignation as the Advocate General for the State of West Bengal with immediate effect owing to personal reasons," the resignation letter said.
