It is not everyday that a Supreme Court judge recounts an emotional experience in open court to substantiate how they perceive a certain community. This happened during the Gangubai Kathiawadi case on Thursday, when Justice Indira Banerjee recalled her encounter with a sex trafficking survivor who was tricked into the flesh trade under the guise of employment.
