Special Court refuses to entertain private complaint against Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa in alleged corruption case

The order was passed by a Special Court set up to expeditiously dispose of pending criminal cases against Members of Parliament and Member of Legislative Assembly.

A special court in Bengaluru on Thursday dismissed a private complaint against Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on an allegation of corruption as the Governor of Karnataka had refused to grant sanction for his prosecution under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (PC Act).
