Special NIA Court, Kochi sentences ISIS member Subahani Haja Moideen to life for waging war against the Iraq Government

An NIA Special Court at Kochi has sentenced Subahani Haja Moideen, a native of Muvattupuzha, to life imprisonment for his role in fighting the Iraq government as part of the Islamic State (ISIS).

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had earlier issued a Press Release informing of Moideen's conviction on September 25. His life sentence was pronounced today. He has also been imposed with a fine of Rs. 2,10,000 for his role.
