Special NIA Court, Kochi sentences ISIS member Subahani Haja Moideen to life for waging war against the Iraq Government

Moideen, a native of Muvattupuzha, has been convicted and sentenced for his membership of the ISIS and waging war against the State of Iraq, among other offences.

An NIA Special Court at Kochi has sentenced Subahani Haja Moideen, a native of Muvattupuzha, to life imprisonment for his role in fighting the Iraq government as part of the Islamic State (ISIS).

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had earlier issued a Press Release informing of Moideen's conviction on September 25. His life sentence was pronounced today. He has also been imposed with a fine of Rs. 2,10,000 for his role.
