Supreme Court allows 2008 Bengaluru blasts accused Abdul Nazir Maudany to stay in Kerala

A bench of Justices AS Bopanna and MM Sundresh relaxed the bail conditions imposed on Maudany after being informed that the trial proceedings no longer required his presence.

The Supreme Court has allowed Abdul Nazir Maudany, an accused in the 2008 Bengaluru blasts case, to travel to and reside in Kerala since the trial proceedings in the matter did not require his presence any further. [Abdul Nazir Maudany v. State of Karnataka]
