Supreme Court asks Karnataka High Court to hear CCI plea for vacation of stay on investigation against Amazon, Flipkart

The Bench asked the High Court to decide the matter within a period of six weeks. It also stated that the present petition may be revived in the event no decision is taken by the High Court.

The Supreme Court today declined to entertain a petition filed by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) seeking vacation of the stay directed by the Karnataka High Court against its order calling for a probe into alleged anti-competitive practices by Flipkart, Amazon and others.
