Supreme Court issues notice in petitions by 200 dental students fearing de-recognition by Dental Council of India

The Court hinted that if any relief is granted, it will protect those students who have already been registered with the Council and who have cleared the pre-requisite criteria to qualify as dentists.

The Supreme Court on Monday sought the response of the Central and Rajasthan governments in a batch of petitions filed by around 200 dental students fearing de-recognition by the Dental Council of India.
