Supreme Court notice on plea by contract workers from consumer forums seeking parity with counterparts at High Courts, District courts

The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to the Central government on a plea by 234 technical support staff members with various consumer forums or commissions across India, employed under third-party contracts seeking parity with the staff working at judicial forums or commissions such as the High Courts, District Courts, National Company Law Tribunal, National Commission for Women, etc.
