Supreme Court issues notice to Central government, Election Commission on plea against candidates contesting from multiple seats

The plea challenged the constitutionality of provisions of Representation of People Act that allow a candidate to contest from two constituencies leading to by-polls in vacated seats if the candidate wins from both.
