Rhea states that Rajput died 5 days after the medicines were prescribed. Since the case investigation is ongoing, Rajput's sister, Priyanka Singh, the doctor and others too must be probed as well, states her complaint.
Rhea Chakraborty has filed a written complaint before the Mumbai police for the registration of an FIR against late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar and other unknown persons under provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.
In her complaint, Rhea says that Sushant Singh Rajput was diagnosed with mental health issues and bipolar disorder by renowned doctors and that Rajput was indisciplined about his treatment.
Elaborating on the reason behind her decision to leave Rajput's residence, Rhea has said that on June 8, Sushant insisted on taking medicines suggested by her sister. It is further stated that Rhea and Sushant Singh Rajput had a disagreement over the same as Rajput already had medications prescribed by leading doctors.
The complaint further reads that the medicines prescribed by Dr Tarun Kumar, an Assistant Professor of Cardiology from Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital were illegally prescribed as such medicines could not be prescribed electronically without consultation. It is stated that the alleged prescription was in violation of the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines of 2020.
The complainant adds that the act of Priyanka Singh and the doctor in prescribing the psychotropic medicines without any consultation or examination was in violation of the NDPS Act, 1985.
Rhea goes on to state that Rajput died 5 days after these medicines were prescribed and that since investigations in the case are ongoing, Priyanka Singh, the doctor and others too must be probed.
