Justice Bharati Dangre refused to grant bail to man accused of manipulating court proceedings by trying to "settle" the bail case of the complainant's son who was detained for offences under POCSO.

Taking money from an accused by giving promises of a favourable court decision, amounts to maligning the judge and the institution, the Bombay High Court recently said while refusing to grant bail to person accused of such an act (Minol Anil Hudda v. State of Maharashtra).
