Judicial officer lost battle to the mother in her: Supreme Court on transfer of Madhya Pradesh district judge

The transfer of the woman judge who made a sexual harassment complaint against a High Court judge was "malice in law," the Court held.

While ordering the reinstatement of a former Madhya Pradesh district judge who had resigned in 2014 after alleging sexual harassment by a High Court judge, the Supreme Court today held that the transfer order that led to her resignation "was squarely covered by malice in law." (Ms X vs Registrar General of Madhya Pradesh HC).
