TRP Scam: Bombay High Court hears Republic TV's plea against Mumbai Police investigation [LIVE UPDATES]

Republic TV, through its parent company ARG Outlier, has filed a petition challenging Mumbai Police's FIR against it in relation to an alleged fake Television Rating Points (TRP) scam.

The plea seeks the quashing of the FIR against Republic TV and its employees including Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami.

Republic TV has additionally sought interim protection against any coercive action against them by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch and a stay of the investigation. The transfer of the probe to the CBI is also sought.
