Vikas Dubey: "Encounter an offence against entire society", PUCL moves application in Supreme Court seeking SIT probe

The application prays for a committee headed by a retired Supreme Court judge to inquire into the encounters that have been taking place in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

People’s Union of Civil Liberties (PUCL) has filed an urgent application in a pending matter before the Supreme Court, seeking a probe monitored by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) into the encounter killing of gangster Vikas Dubey and his aides Amar Dubey and Prabhat Mishra.
