The Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana said on Wednesday that he wishes to flag several issues but would do so only in his farewell speech when he demits office. .The remark was made after Senior Advocate Dushyant Dave highlighted a grievance with the Supreme Court's registry."We read the brief till last night 8 pm. We had multiple conferences also. Then that matter was deleted and this case was inserted. This is incorrect and this practice of registry must be deprecated," he told the the CJI..To this, CJI Ramana said, "There are a lot of issues which I want to flag but I don't want to observe anything before demitting the office. But I will speak about all of this in my farewell speech. So, please wait.".CJI Ramana is slated to demit office on August 26, after which Justice UU Lalit will take over as the CJI.
