Women residing in India temporarily, OCI cardholders entitled to relief under Domestic Violence Act: Madras High Court

The Madras High Court Wednesday said that persons who were living temporarily in India and foreign citizens who are Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) cardholders are entitled to invoke the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act of 2005 (DV Act) before Indian courts.
