Writ petitions no longer maintainable against Air India owing to airline's privatisation: Bombay High Court

The Bombay High Court recently ruled that writ petitions brought by Air India Ltd (AIL) employees against the company over salaries and promotions are no longer maintainable in light of the airline's privatisation [RS Madireddy and Anr. vs The Union of India and Ors.].
