Live-in relationship a by-product of Article 21; promoting promiscuity: Madhya Pradesh High Court

Live-in relationships are engulfing the ethos of Indian society, and promoting promiscuity and lascivious behavior, giving further rise to sexual offences, the Court said.

The Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court last week observed that live-in relationships were leading to rising incidents of sexual offences by promoting promiscuity and lascivious behaviour [Abhishek v State of Madhya Pradesh].
