Lucio AI launches Elevate, moving legal AI from chat answers to finished deliverables

Lucio AI, the legal intelligence workspace built for practising lawyers, has announced the general availability of Elevate, a new capability that turns a legal request directly into the file a lawyer would send a client - a populated spreadsheet, a drafted document, a deal-structure diagram, or a speaker-separated call transcript rather than a chat response that still has to be built into a deliverable.

Elevate has been in beta with Lucio's customers for more than four months. Over that period, the company found that the most valuable AI outputs in legal work are not just chat-based answers but the deliverables built on top of it: a covenant compliance schedule that still calculates, a structure chart generated from the underlying documents, or a transcript a lawyer can search rather than replay.

Elevate works across five workflows that have seen the earliest adoption in beta: building, editing, and analysing spreadsheets that retain working formulas rather than static numbers including the non-legal functions law firms run themselves, such as finance and business development; generating structure charts, transaction diagrams, and timelines directly from a document set; transcribing and diarising audio from calls, hearings, and client meetings; drafting or editing documents against a firm's own templates; and producing presentation-ready decks rather than a rough set of slides.

Elevate is now available to all Lucio users.

It sits behind SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certification, and no customer data is used to train models.

Lucio is also preparing to release its own model work, built specifically for Indian legal tasks and workflows, as the next step in that direction.
